From postcode to first panel in four steps

You deal with PPG for the equipment and with a local independent distributor for paint, advice and same-week support. Nobody in the middle marks up your hardware.

The scheme is for bodyshops spending £800 or more a month on VALUE-PRO basecoat, primers, clearcoats, hardeners and thinners.

Choose your plan

Pick a 3-year or 5-year equipment subscription. You sign directly with PPG Industries UK, so the hardware and software are backed by the manufacturer.

Installed by Milsteda

Your mixing bank, scale, spectrophotometer and LINQ Color software are installed and set up for you, with full IT support from PPG.

Your local TIDAL partner delivers, replenishes your tinters as you use them and gives on-site technical support.

66 tinters covering solids, metallics, pearls and special effects. Mix 1 part basecoat with 0.1 to 0.3 parts VP830-2020 WB Thinner. Use single coats to coverage, then a light control coat on metallics.

    What is PPG VALUE-PRO?

    VALUE-PRO is a waterborne refinish paint system from PPG, built to give bodyshops PPG quality and colour accuracy at a competitive price. The range covers VP100 waterborne basecoat tinters, SR and UHS clearcoats, SpeedPrimer, aerosol primers, thinners and panel wipe, all backed by PPG's library of over 80,000 colour formulas.

    Where can I buy VALUE-PRO paint in the UK?

    VALUE-PRO is available in the UK exclusively through TIDAL's independent refinish distributors, with 26 branches across the country. Enter your postcode at the top of this page to find your nearest TIDAL partner.

    Is VALUE-PRO a waterborne basecoat?

    Yes. VALUE-PRO VP100 is a waterborne basecoat mixed with VP830-2020 WB Thinner, and the system is completed with VALUE-PRO primers and clearcoats. Technical data sheets for each product are in the product range section.

    Who is my subscription contract with?

    PPG Industries UK. You pay your monthly subscription straight to PPG, and PPG supports the hardware and software. Your TIDAL partner supplies your paint, tinters and ancillaries, and gives you local technical support.

    What counts towards the £800 a month?

    VALUE-PRO wet goods: waterborne basecoat tinters plus the ancillaries that make up the system, including primers, clearcoats, hardeners and thinners. Prices exclude VAT.

    What's the difference between the 3-year and 5-year plans?

    Both include LINQ Color software, a spectrophotometer, a Mettler scale and the MagicBox. The 5-year plan also includes a TouchMix Express and costs £76 a month instead of £78.

    Do I pay for the tinter bank?

    Not upfront. Your TIDAL partner supplies the full range of 66 tinters on impress. The starting stock stays on your partner's books, so you only pay for tinters as they're topped up.

    Why do I need an ancillary pack?

    PPG requires an ancillary pack with every scheme so the whole system is used together, from primer to clearcoat. Through the launch offer, your first pack is included.

    How does the referral voucher work?

    If you're already a VALUE-PRO subscriber and a bodyshop you introduce signs up, you get a £50 Amazon voucher. Just ask them to enter your business name in the "Referred by" box on the enquiry form.

    How quickly will someone contact me?
